The Highland represents a shift - both in how we enjoy the outdoors and the design/manufacture of the gear that takes us there.
Intuitive functionality and comfort make it great for lounging in the park or day-hiking. Technical design features such as our 8-point gear loop system and industry first adjustable width/lay make for a seamless transition to hammock camping on the trail.

The Highland hammock uses 1.6 oz HyperD® diamond ripstop nylon for both the body and panel material. Compared to standard ripstop nylon and other materials, 1.6 HyperD® is softer and stretches less under heavy loads. The result? A really comfortable hammock.
Stitching is what holds the hammock together and keeps you off the ground. Many hammocks use what's called a "chain stitch" with thick, coarse thread that creates a rough entry and exit point on the hammock's edge. This type of stitch can also unravel easily if pulled.
In contrast, the Highland uses mil-spec thread with straight-stitch seams throughout. This includes a double-stitched lap seam at the joint between the body and panel of the hammock. The stitching lays down flat and won't pull out easily, making it stronger and softer while offering less irritation when getting in and out of your hammock.
Want a hammock that you can add-to and customize? This is where our gear loop system comes in.
Instead of awkward attachments, our 8 point gear loop system allows you to seamlessly add-on accessories and other gear when you need it. All our products are designed to work together as a system, so customizing your setup with a quilt or storage loft, for example, is a breeze.
The Highland is a WIDE hammock with a finished width of 70 inches. This gives the average person a roomier feel and better overall lay, but can create floppy sides, block your view, and sometimes swamp smaller hammockers.
Our 4-point adjustable width/lay system solves these issues. Reinforced exit holes on both end channels allow you to go from a 70" width down to 60" in about a minute. Even better, you can drop one panel down if it blocks your view when inside the hammock.
